The TWIST™ Loofa Sponge replaces the non-biodegradable scrubber on a traditional kitchen sponge with a natural loofa on one side and a completely biodegradable cellulose sponge on the other.

These wonderful sponges are made of cellulose (100% tree fiber) sourced from renewable tree farms. During manufacture, TWIST takes special care to make sure 99.97% of all waste is reused in production. To keep your sponge germ free it can be put (slightly wet) into the microwave for 1 minute, boiled or put into the dishwasher.
